A 20-yr career as a General Contractor pre-dated Mr. Hromas' entry into the insurance industry in 1996 when he started working for Allstate Insurance as a property adjuster. Holding multiple positions with Allstate, he eventually became the sole Quality Evaluator (Re-inspector) for the South Texas MCO.

​

After leaving Allstate in 2003, he joined Crawford & Co. as a catastrophe adjuster and as one of the first five adjusters deployed in the event of a catastrophe, worked major events all over the US up through early 2007.

​

Taking a position with Gulf Coast Claims Service in Houston, TX as the Property Claims Manager in 2007, he oversaw the activities and work product for both staff and contract adjusters throughout Texas and the Southwest.

​

In 2009, Mr. Hromas formed US Insurance Information LLC and began operations in litigation assistance, expert witness testimony and appraisal services throughout the US.

​

Mr. Hromas is the immediate Past-President of the American Association of Insurance Management Consultants and is a nationally recognized expert in the area of commercial and residential appraisals under the insurance contract.

​

Mr. Hromas possesses a Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD) degree from the University of Houston Law Center, is a member of the Society of Registered Professional Adjusters and the National Association of Independent Insurance Adjusters. He also is an Executive General Adjuster and carries the following designations: Certified Insurance Appraiser (CIA), Certified Insurance Umpire (CIU), Personal Lines Coverage Specialist (PLCS).
